It’s the name of a house, designed by my clever architect friend Andrew Douglas. I was commissioned by his wife, FE consultant Isobel Craddock, to shoot the interiors this week for various new ventures of theirs (hint: it would make a great TV location). I don’t normally do interiors but this was an interesting exercise, with each room presenting different challenges in terms of light, angles and space.
I used a mixture of natural and strobe lighting and the tungsten in the house, and shot tethered to my Macbook Pro using Lightroom, so I could move around with Isobel ‘in tow’ and essentially get approval on the shots as we went. Effective.
We spent a very enjoyable couple of mornings in this way. And I got fed lunch, which with Isobel is always a bonus!
